• The promotional video was filmed in Los Angeles in February 1994, shortly before "Miss World" was released as the lead single from *Live Through This*.

• Kristen Pfaff is featured on bass, making this the only Hole music video to include her. Pfaff played bass and backing vocals on the complete *Live Through This* album and died on June 16, 1994.

• The pageant setting turns the song's conflict between self-image, fame, and emotional distress into visual form. The video has also been noted for drawing heavily on the look and decorations of the 1976 film *Carrie*.
