Mike D. listens to "Netty's Girl" in a small recording studio and drifts into a playful fantasy. As the song unfolds, he imagines himself singing while cruising in a small boat, with the Beastie Boys' laid-back performance surrounded by deliberately odd, low-key visual touches. The clip moves between the studio setting and scenes filmed around Echo Park Lake in Los Angeles, turning a simple love song into an offbeat, dreamlike detour from the group's more aggressive and performance-driven videos.
