Synopsis

Greg Kihn appears as a nervous groom whose wedding ceremony turns into a nightmare. As he waits at the altar, the guests become grotesquely joined together, the bride is revealed as a zombie, and the church erupts into a monster-filled battle. Kihn fights his way out and escapes in a vintage convertible. The final moments reframe the chaos as a vision of his pre-wedding anxiety, although the bride also leaves the church and drives away, suggesting that the relationship remains in jeopardy.

• The video was filmed inside San Francisco's Dolores Mission, a church also seen in the first "Dirty Harry" movie.

• The entire production was completed during an unusually long 72-hour session, with filming continuing through the night.

• The giant creature attacking Kihn was created with a large latex prop. To make it appear as though the monster wrapped around him, the scene was filmed in reverse.

• Campbell's pea soup was used as fake monster blood and was sprayed into Kihn's face during the effects scenes.

• The horror-themed concept helped the video gain heavy MTV exposure and made it one of the Greg Kihn Band's most recognizable visual releases.

• The 1984 video for "Reunited" continued the wedding storyline, functioning as a sequel to "Jeopardy."
