Synopsis

A young boy pauses outside the Phoenix Cinema and studies a colorful poster advertising the Scissor Sisters. As he looks closer, the printed image comes alive, transforming the band into a surreal moving spectacle of frozen poses, playful choreography, shifting perspectives, and exaggerated visual gags. The performers appear trapped inside the poster while the camera explores its strange world. After the energetic fantasy reaches its peak, the action reverses, the camera pulls away, and the poster returns to its original still form.

• The video is staged around a promotional poster outside the Phoenix Cinema in North London.

• The boy seen watching the poster is Chester McKee, who appeared as a contestant on the BBC talent show "I'd Do Anything."

• Much of the video's visual trickery comes from digital compositing, stop-start movement, and carefully arranged foreground and background illusions.

• The production deliberately makes the performers look as though they are animated figures printed on the poster rather than simply appearing in a conventional performance setting.

• Post-production involved flame artist Ben Robards at Absolute Post, while Amanda James handled the editing at Final.
