Synopsis

The "Shaketon Remix" video follows the same fractured breakup story as the original "La Tortura" clip, but incorporates alternate footage from the production. Alejandro Sanz watches Shakira from across the street as she returns to her apartment carrying a bag of onions. Her private grief gives way to memories of their relationship and a sensual rooftop performance, where she covers herself in black paint. The remix cut keeps the voyeuristic tension and emotional distance intact while reshaping the pacing around the more rhythm-driven version of the song.
