Synopsis

"No Angel (It's All in Your Mind)" presents No Angels in a stylized pop-art world of metallic surfaces, strong studio lighting, and late-1960s fashion. Each member appears in a separate visual setting, often interacting with a man carrying a handheld camera. Sandy performs in a corridor lined with fluorescent tubes, Vanessa dances in a foil-covered room, Lucy poses against a silver wall, and Nadja films a dancer herself. During the instrumental break, the women play with floating silver balloons before regrouping for a final performance.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video's visual concept draws heavily on Andy Warhol's pop-art aesthetic, particularly his "Silver Clouds" installation of helium-filled, pillow-like forms made from silver plastic film.

• Filming took place on March 22, 2003, in a warehouse-style loft in Berlin-Tempelhof. The shoot reportedly lasted 17 hours.

• The clip was made with No Angels as a quartet. Jessica Wahls was taking a maternity break, making this the group's first single and video released without her.

• The individual settings give each member a distinct visual identity instead of treating the group as a single coordinated unit.

• "No Angel (It's All in Your Mind)" became the band's fourth number-one single in Germany. Its success helped establish the song as one of the key releases from the 2003 album "Pure".

• The single was released on April 22, 2003, alongside the group's version of Shocking Blue's "Venus."
