Synopsis

Ladytron perform in a stark black chamber separated from a larger gray room by a wide window. Dressed in matching black uniforms, the group plays synthesizers while watching a professor lead a group of schoolgirls into the adjoining space. The girls dance as the professor gradually removes them one by one. By the end of the song, only one girl remains, standing alone and staring back at the band through the glass.

• "Seventeen" was released as the lead single from Ladytron's second album, "Light & Magic," in 2002. The music video is generally dated to 2003.

• The sparse set is divided into two contrasting spaces: a black performance room and a larger gray room containing objects such as a scale, a telephone, an old television, and what appears to be a VCR.
