Synopsis

Blur appear as guests on a stylized television variety show, seated together on a couch set into a vivid red studio floor. When the program cuts to a commercial break, the stage is taken over by a troupe of sharply dressed dancers, whose synchronized routine turns the studio into a deliberately artificial spectacle. The band's detached presence contrasts with the dancers' precise, almost futuristic movements, creating a playful collision between vintage television presentation, mod fashion, and the song's restless, genre-hopping energy.

• The video was conceived as a television-studio performance, with Blur presented as guests rather than as a conventional rock band playing onstage.

• The choreography was created by Blanca Li, who also choreographed Daft Punk's "Around the World."

• The dancers' costumes draw on 1960s and 1970s fashion, with the black-and-white outfits giving the performance a distinctly mod and retro-futurist appearance.

• Although "Music Is My Radar" was released in October 2000 as part of the promotion for *Blur: The Best Of*, the video was left off that compilation's VHS and DVD releases.

• The video later became available as part of the *Blur 21* box set, released in 2012.
