Synopsis

Anastacia appears as a mannequin displayed in the window of a struggling shop, where she falls for a male mannequin across the room. When the shop closes, the pair are discarded and sent to a furnace, but their love survives the destruction. Intercut with this fairy-tale narrative are intimate performance scenes featuring Anastacia in a dark, atmospheric room. Inspired by "The Steadfast Tin Soldier," the video turns the song's themes of emotional pain, devotion, and endurance into a romantic story with a bittersweet ending.

• The video was filmed in Romania, primarily at the MediaPro Studios in Buftea, near Bucharest, in late November 2004.

• Production lasted two days, with much of the filming taking place at night despite temperatures of around 3 degrees Celsius.

• Artificial snow was used to create the wintry setting around the mannequins and the shop.

• Anastacia plays both herself and the mannequin character. For the mannequin role, she wears a red wig and a wedding dress, marking one of the first times she did not appear with her usual blonde hair in a music video.

• The shop is named "H. C. Anderson," a visual reference to Hans Christian Andersen, whose fairy tale "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" inspired the video's storyline.
