Synopsis

Three boys in clown face paint slip away from home and make their way through the streets of Malaga. After confronting a group of older youths, they escape on a bus and sneak into the Lyceo nightclub. Inside, a krump dance battle is underway, and one of the boys unexpectedly joins in. Their brief moment of freedom ends when security intervenes and the police take them away. The video's stark black-and-white street scenes contrast with the vivid, energetic color of the club.

• The video was filmed in Malaga, Spain, on November 16, 2004. Locations included the El Palo district, Beatas Street, a bus stop on Manuel Agustin Heredia Avenue, and the Lyceo nightclub.

• The young dancers seen in the club were krumpers brought over from Los Angeles, while many of the other extras were recruited through Spanish casting agencies.

• The video's visual design shifts from mostly black-and-white footage on the streets to color inside the nightclub, giving the dance battle a heightened, almost dreamlike intensity.

• The opening Arabic dialogue addresses one of the boys by the name Bilal.
