Synopsis

Blink-182 perform inside a shadowy, old-fashioned mansion where ghostly figures drift through the rooms and seem to observe the band. Tom DeLonge sings and plays piano while Mark Hoppus performs on upright bass and Travis Barker drums in the dim, theatrical setting. Presented in grainy black and white, the video blends haunted-house imagery with the look of an early sound film, turning the song's loneliness and romantic anxiety into a surreal gothic performance.

• Filming took place in Los Angeles on December 17, 2003. MTV aired a sneak preview on January 22, 2004, before the complete video premiered on January 26.
