Synopsis

Stuck in Los Angeles traffic, Dave Grohl loses patience with the small irritations of modern life. After abandoning his car, he walks through the city in search of the Foo Fighters, encountering bad fast food, aggressive thieves, irritating advertising and increasingly absurd obstacles. His journey culminates in a warehouse performance with the band, only for the authorities to arrive and bring his chaotic day to an electrically charged conclusion.

• The video is a comic homage to the 1993 film "Falling Down," particularly its portrait of an ordinary man pushed beyond his limits by traffic, consumer culture and everyday frustrations.

• The opening traffic jam features bumper stickers mocking various aspects of popular culture and politics, including references to Justin Bieber, Coldplay and former President George W. Bush.

• "Walk" was released as the third single from the Foo Fighters' 2011 album "Wasting Light." The album was recorded in Dave Grohl's garage, giving the video's street-level, rough-edged presentation a fitting companion piece.

• The video appeared online on June 2, 2011, ahead of the single's release and the band's performance of the song at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.
