Synopsis

The Groovie Ghoulies find themselves aboard a spaceship when a mysterious intruder in a gas mask appears. Armed and ready to defend their vessel, Kepi, Roach, and Scampi confront the strange visitor in a playful, low-budget sci-fi horror scenario. The video mixes band performance footage with campy action, practical effects, spaceship imagery, and a deliberately pulpy monster-movie atmosphere. • The video was originally released in 2002 to promote the song from the album "Go! Stories."

• Production was organized just days before the band was due to leave on tour. The concept was developed around existing sets, props, and costumes rather than through an elaborate purpose-built production.

• The shoot began on October 14, 2002, and continued overnight until approximately 5 a.m. Editing then carried on through the following night so the band could see a finished version before departing.

• Odin Abbott appears as the intruder and also handled the intruder costume, special effects, and spaceship animation.
