Synopsis

Set in a distant future, the video follows a mechanical figure exploring a frozen, desolate Earth. It discovers the remains of a duck and examines its memories, uncovering a sad history connected to the duck killed by Marcus in *About a Boy*. The miniature tragedy gradually becomes a story of loneliness, loss and emotional recovery. By giving the duck a chance at a happier outcome, the video transforms a brief comic incident from the film into an unexpectedly moving science-fiction tale.
