Synopsis

Ladytron's "Tomorrow" unfolds like a surrealist fairy tale rather than a conventional band performance. A lone, ethereal woman moves through sunlit natural landscapes, where waterside scenes, translucent fabrics, floating jellyfish and dreamlike tableaux create a sense of suspended reality. The soft-focus photography gives the clip the atmosphere of a faded storybook illustration, while the absence of the band keeps attention on the mysterious visual world surrounding its central figure. The result is a graceful, otherworldly accompaniment to the song's wistful electronic mood.

• The video does not feature Ladytron performing. Mira Aroyo explained before its release that the band would be absent and that the clip would instead pursue a distinctive, dreamlike atmosphere.

• The central performance is by Ainsley Burke, who appears amid the video's pastoral and aquatic imagery.

• The clip was filmed on location in Montserrat, Catalonia, Spain.

• Its visual style was widely noted for soft focus, sun-spotted photography and floating jellyfish imagery, giving the video the appearance of a moving Maxfield Parrish painting.

• Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo's clothing was supplied by the fashion label Albino, with styling by Jessica and Kelly.
