Synopsis

Dia Frampton enters a bizarre, "Top Chef"-style baking competition where the contestants are judged less on their culinary skills than on their willingness to play along with the judges' sleazy behavior. While the other bakers lean into the show's sexualized spectacle, Frampton stays focused on the challenge. After recognizing that the competition is rigged, she uses her intelligence to turn the contestants against one another and ultimately claims victory, giving the song's breakup theme a playful, defiant visual setting.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was built around a baking contest rather than a conventional relationship narrative. The Crystal Method explained that, although the song concerns a troubled relationship, they wanted the clip to reflect the manufactured drama of reality television.

• Dia Frampton was the only person in the cast whom The Crystal Method already knew. The other bakers and judges were actors.

• Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland appear in the video as the leering judges. Scott Kirkland is also listed in the production credits as the janitor.

• The baking competition host is played by Ken Jordan.

• "Over It" was the first single from The Crystal Method's self-titled 2014 album and features Frampton, who was known both for Meg & Dia and for her appearance on the second season of "The Voice."

• Frampton brought the initial song idea to the collaboration as a faster folk-style acoustic-guitar sketch. The Crystal Method then reshaped it into the electronic track heard on the single.
