Factoids & Trivia
- "The Mighty Fall" is the fifth installment of Fall Out Boy's 11-part Save Rock and Roll video series, The Young Blood Chronicles.
- The video premiered on August 29, 2013, and runs for approximately 4 minutes and 11 seconds.
- The story follows directly from "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)," which ends with the band bound inside a van.
- Big Sean plays The Herald, a recurring character in the larger Young Blood Chronicles storyline. His appearance connects the track's guest feature to the continuing narrative rather than presenting him only as a performer.
- Big Sean reportedly filmed his scenes at Griffith Park around 2 a.m. The shoot took place in cold conditions, and he was covered in fake blood before leaving for a flight to Hawaii.
- The video was produced by MAD Pictures. Its dark chase sequence and continuing characters were designed to function as part of the longer film, rather than as an entirely separate music video.
- The full Young Blood Chronicles eventually combined all 11 videos into a single musical film, which premiered on Palladia on May 21, 2014.
