Synopsis

Violet Road perform in a stark, atmospheric setting shaped by water. The video cuts between band performance footage, submerged images and dreamlike views that connect the song to ideas of resilience and emotional immersion. Underwater photography gives the presentation a fluid, weightless quality, while the Tromso surroundings add a distinctly northern sense of place. Rather than following a conventional narrative, "Waterproof" builds its impact through contrasts between the musicians, the pool environment and the surreal imagery.

• The production included dedicated underwater photography, making the water imagery more than a simple visual theme.

• The video was made in Tromso, with Alfheim Svommehall among the organizations thanked in the production credits.

• Redhead Productions handled the production, while the project also received support from Telenor Norge, Tvibit talentfilmfond and other local partners.

• Torkel Riise Svenson worked on cinematography, editing and grading/compositing, giving the production a strong connection between shooting and post-production.

• The track was produced by Jon Marius Aareskjold, Jonas Lie Theis and Violet Road. Mixing was handled by Aareskjold and the band, with mastering completed by Bjorn Engelmann at Cutting Room in Stockholm.
