Synopsis

At a lonely desert truck stop, a hardened truck driver moves through a strange, rain-soaked night haunted by memories of his childhood. The story shifts between the gritty present and surreal images of youthful play, gradually blurring the line between recollection and reality. Dancers, truck-stop figures, and dreamlike visual effects give the roadside setting an uncanny quality. As the driver's past resurfaces, the video turns "Good Mistake" into a melancholy meditation on memory, regret, and the possibility of reconnecting with an earlier self.
