Synopsis

"Eleanor Lye" opens with a short poem about death, frozen lava, and rebirth. In a dark, empty space, Leanne Macomber lies motionless and nude, filmed in close detail. Small movements gradually return to her fingers, toes, face, and body as she appears to rediscover sensation and consciousness. The process builds slowly from stillness to full physical awareness, ending with Macomber rising and facing the camera. The stark imagery gives the song's grief a visual form, presenting mourning as a strange, elemental passage into renewed life.

• "Eleanor Lye" appears on Ejecta's debut album, "Dominae," released in 2013. It is the album's eighth track.
