Synopsis

A young girl quietly washes a pair of jeans in a bathtub, turning an ordinary domestic chore into an unsettling mystery. As she investigates what emerges from the water, curiosity gives way to shock and grief. The video's restrained imagery and single bathroom setting create a claustrophobic, dreamlike atmosphere, while the song grows from delicate piano and hushed electronics into a much larger emotional swell. The result is a stark meditation on innocence, discovery, loss, and the fragility of life.

• The video premiered in January 2012, ahead of the release of Sleep Party People's second album, "We Were Drifting on a Sad Song."

• "A Dark God Heart" had already appeared on the Danish compilation "VUF Compilation #6: Back To Nature" before receiving its album treatment.
