Synopsis

Rammstein stage a sunlit 1960s beach party in California, complete with retro clothes, cheerful guests, bright colors, and deliberately wholesome pop imagery. The carefree mood gradually becomes more unsettling as the band's performance turns increasingly wild. The video then jumps forward to 2012, returning to the same beach at night. Rammstein appear in stark industrial costumes and corpse paint, playing amid fire and smoke. The contrast between the idyllic daytime gathering and the aggressive night-time spectacle gives the song's patriotic language an ironic, provocative edge.
