Synopsis

At a brightly colored tiki bar, a seductive woman draws the attention of a man on a date. Her face is replaced by rapidly changing cutout images of animals, vegetation and volcanic landscapes, turning her allure into something increasingly strange and primal. As the encounter progresses, the flirtation takes a sharply violent turn. The video's saturated palette, collage-like animation and abrupt shifts between eroticism and menace create a surreal cautionary tale about desire and the dangers hidden beneath an irresistible surface.

Factoids & Trivia

• "She's Bad" features West Coast electro and hip-hop pioneer Egyptian Lover, whose vocals add an old-school rap presence to DyE's electronic production.

• The song appeared on DyE's 2014 album "Cocktail Citron," released through the French label Tigersushi.

• DyE described the central character as a woman whose sex appeal is so extreme that she is no longer fully human.

• The face imagery combines cutout material from library footage, including wildlife and bubbling volcanic springs. The result gives the character an animalistic, almost geological identity.

• The filmmakers cited the layered, peel-away collages of artist John Stezaker as an influence.
