Synopsis

Set inside a crowded London pub, the video follows Daniel Radcliffe as a disheveled, apparently intoxicated patron trying to survive the aftermath of a wild night. Wearing a Hawaiian shirt, he lip-syncs with aggressive intensity, drains the leftovers in other customers' glasses, confronts the room and works himself into a chaotic performance. His increasingly unstable behavior culminates in an ill-fated dance on a pub table, turning the song's emotional unease into an unruly piece of physical comedy.

• The video was filmed in a single take at The Faltering Fullback, a pub in Finsbury Park, London.

• Daniel Radcliffe was already a Slow Club fan. Earlier in 2012, he guest-edited Time Out and interviewed the Sheffield duo, which helped lead to his involvement in the video.

• Radcliffe is not used for a brief celebrity cameo. He carries the entire video, performing the song directly to camera while the pub continues operating around him.

• The band said the shoot had to fit around a Slow Club show that night, and that Radcliffe was remarkably focused during the short production.

• The video accompanied "Beginners" as the final single from Slow Club's second album, "Paradise," which was released in 2012.
