Synopsis

In a landscape of darkness, rubble, graffiti and abandoned industrial structures, a gang of feral teenagers moves through the wasteland known as Gunshotta Ave. Their aimless roaming gradually turns into a tense display of aggression, with the group's unity giving way to intimidation and violence. The stark setting and restless handheld imagery create a hostile, hallucinatory world that matches the track's rapid jungle-influenced rhythm, presenting Gunshotta as a place where survival, territory and menace define everyday life.

• The video was released in 2013 to promote "Gunshotta," an album track from Machinedrum's Vapor City.

• Vapor City is a concept album built around an imaginary city from Machinedrum's dreams, with each song representing a different location. "Gunshotta" consequently functions as the musical and visual introduction to one of the city's harsher districts.

• The treatment was described as having a "The Warriors"-style influence, translating the track's uneasy energy into a story about a youth gang navigating hostile territory.
