Synopsis

Two white, body-popping evangelists descend on Watts, Los Angeles, bringing their strange gospel of cool to the neighborhood. Ringing bells, dancing in formation and preaching from the back of a lowrider, they stage an exuberant, surreal mission involving colorful characters, alligators and flashes of religious imagery. The clip treats the song's self-conscious funkiness as a theatrical spectacle, presenting its would-be saviors as both committed performers and amusingly out-of-place outsiders.
