Synopsis

We Have Band perform in a forest clearing before abruptly abandoning their instruments and sprinting into the surrounding woods. Filmed in striking slow motion, the trio becomes separated as they encounter other runners, mirrors, drifting fog and bursts of colored smoke among the trees. The band eventually finds its way back to the makeshift stage and resumes playing. The video forms a near-loop, with its closing moments echoing the opening, reinforcing the song's theme of confronting rather than escaping the past.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Tired Of Running" was released as the second single from We Have Band's second album, "Ternion," on June 4, 2012.

• The video was filmed at a fort and in the surrounding woods at Marly-le-Roi, outside Paris. The location had formerly been used as a hunting area by French presidents before hunting there was banned.

• It was the band's first video filmed outside a studio. The production was designed around the existing landscape, using the trees, shadows and changing natural light as part of the visual concept.

• Apart from the opening and closing scenes, the video uses no artificial lighting.

• The near-seamless connection between the beginning and ending allows the video to be viewed as a loop.

• The band described the song as an internal dialogue about being honest with yourself and facing past experiences or personal issues instead of avoiding them.

• The production was made by Wanda Productions, with photography by Manol Valtchanov and clothing supplied by AllSaints.
