Synopsis

A playful animated journey follows four cheerful geometric shapes as they move through a succession of colorful, densely detailed environments. Their simple forms bounce, transform and interact in time with the song's insistent dance beat, creating a sense of motion and escalating energy. Rather than telling a conventional story, the video works as a visual progression from one imaginative sequence to the next, building toward a lively, almost hypnotic celebration of rhythm, color and shape.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Get Get Get" was released in 2009 and runs for approximately three minutes and 42 seconds.

• The video's only creative brief was reportedly "Make me something fun," giving the animation team considerable freedom to develop its playful visual language.

• The production was completed in about one month, covering concept development, design and animation.

• The team chose highly detailed designs but kept the animation relatively simple and direct. The video was divided into three main sections, allowing different artists to focus on separate parts of the piece.

• The production was created in full HD. Large Illustrator files caused technical difficulties, so the artwork was converted into bitmap elements before being assembled and animated in After Effects.

• The main work was created with Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects. A separate cult-themed sequence was animated by Michele De Feudis.

• The video was later included in animation and short-film festival programs, including the Netherlands Film Festival archive and the Holland Animation Film Festival circuit.
