Synopsis

Malajube's "Le crabe" unfolds as a surreal stop-motion collage rather than a conventional narrative. Printed images, cut-out figures, patterns, and found objects shift through a series of dreamlike tableaux, creating a playful visual counterpoint to the song's restless energy. The imagery moves in quick, handcrafted bursts, with unrelated shapes and characters appearing, disappearing, and recombining as if assembled from the pages of a strange illustrated scrapbook. Its deliberately abstract progression leaves the video's connection to the lyrics open to interpretation.
