Synopsis

Night Riots perform inside a dimly lit shop after closing time, surrounded by mannequins that watch the action from the storefront and display windows. As the night unfolds, the figures appear to come alive, blurring the line between the band's performance and a surreal after-hours fantasy. The video's moody, romantic atmosphere echoes the song's longing for a relationship to return to an earlier, more emotionally open state, while its playful concept gives the melancholy track a distinctive visual identity.

• The video's central idea came from Chris Buongiorno's fascination with mannequins as creepy observers that might come to life after a store closes.

• Buongiorno also cited the tone of John Hughes movies as an influence. The connection had an extra personal twist: his college writing teacher was the filmmaker behind the 1987 movie "Mannequin."

• Night Riots recorded "Oh My Heart" at Palmquist Studios in East Los Angeles while filming the "Back to Your Love" video.

• "Back to Your Love" was released from the band's independently issued "Young Lore" EP, which came out on July 30, 2013.

• The video was presented as part of the fourth annual Los Angeles Music Video Festival in November 2014.
