Synopsis

In "Capitol," Robert Alfons performs against a surreal cosmic backdrop while a young woman becomes absorbed by the strange imagery surrounding him. As the video progresses, the boundary between performer, viewer, and video transmission grows increasingly unstable. Alfons appears to float through space, serenading his captivated subject, while the woman's apparent possession by a videotape gives the clip an eerie, dreamlike quality.
