Synopsis

"The Barker Band - Bad Thing" is a documentary-style music video that follows the London country-bluegrass group during a recording session at Soup Studios on Hanbury Street. Rather than building a fictional narrative, it focuses on the band at work: performing, recording, and sharing the informal highs and lows of making music together. Presented in three parts, the film captures the atmosphere of a working studio and gives the musicians' personalities and acoustic instrumentation as much attention as the song itself.
