Synopsis

The video centers on Mr. Valcheu, a strange, deadpan character moving through a stylized Berlin world populated by eccentric figures, including Grems and Disiz. Live-action scenes, surreal situations and deliberately heightened performances give the clip a comic-book quality, while the shifting energy mirrors Son Of Kick's fractured electronic production. Rather than presenting a conventional performance video, "Guacha" builds an offbeat mini-universe around its cast, blending French rap attitude, visual absurdity and the track's dark, restless psychostep atmosphere.

• The video was shot in Berlin using a Canon 5D Mark II, a DSLR camera that became widely used for independent music videos and short films around this period.

• Mika Abadie plays the central character, Mr. Valcheu. The cast also includes Miki Grems, Disiz, Pavan Mukhi, Valeska Nikola, Anton His and Thomas Dro Savary.

• Mika Abadie and Nicolas Andre wrote the video. It was produced by Equinox Records in collaboration with Incog Studios, with Damien Elroy Vignaux credited as co-executive director.

• The official video appeared online on October 29, 2010, shortly before the "Guacha" EP was released by Equinox Records on November 5, 2010.

• The video runs for approximately 7 minutes and 29 seconds, making it substantially longer than a standard radio edit and allowing the visual concept to develop like a short film.
