Synopsis

Robbie Williams plays a former figure skater and coach whose memories of childhood training frame a romantic performance on the ice. He mentors a skating couple preparing for a major competition, but their routine is threatened when the male skater is injured. Robbie steps in as his replacement, performing alongside the female skater and helping the pair complete their routine. The video closes on a warm, reconciliatory note as the injured skater watches from the sidelines and joins the celebration.

• The ice-skating sequences were filmed at Alexandra Palace's ice rink in London.

• The skating couple were portrayed by Pamela O'Connor and Jonathan O'Dougherty. Both were competitive figure skaters, bringing genuine skating ability to the performance scenes.

• Young Robbie was played by 10-year-old figure skater Philip Woods, who appeared in the childhood flashback sequences.

• The UK version includes sports commentary from Barry Davies, giving the climactic routine the feel of a televised championship event.

• The single was released in November 1999 as a double A-side with "It's Only Us" and became Williams' second UK No. 1 single.
