Factoids & Trivia

• The video was released in 1998, alongside "Still Not a Player," the remix of Big Pun's 1997 debut single "I'm Not a Player."

• "Still Not a Player" became Big Pun's commercial breakthrough and his highest-charting single, reaching No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100.

• Joe's contribution connects the track to his own 1993 song "Don't Wanna Be a Player." The remix reworks that song's melodic idea into a much bigger rap hit.

• The video features cameos from Fat Joe, Cormega, Onyx, the Beatnuts, Guru, Tony Touch, Davina, Nas, Ice-T, Raekwon, RZA, N.O.R.E., DJ Premier, and members of Terror Squad.

• The production leans into the song's crossover appeal: polished club staging and glossy lifestyle imagery sit alongside a dense New York rap cameo roster.

• The song also became a major showcase for producer Knobody, whose work on the remix helped turn Pun's original concept into a radio-friendly hit.

• Big Pun's playful refrain and Joe's sung hook made the video one of the most recognizable visual documents of Pun's brief mainstream peak.
