Synopsis

A teenage outcast named Larkey Parka endures ridicule while trying to win the attention of a girl at school. His persistence leads him to a Guided By Voices concert, where the band's explosive performance and a chaotic mosh pit provide the setting for his unlikely breakthrough. Blending a coming-of-age storyline with staged rock-show footage, the video turns "Bulldog Skin" into a scrappy, humorous underdog tale about surviving humiliation, finding confidence, and finally getting noticed.
