Synopsis

Dolores O'Riordan appears in period clothing as she tends to a child beside a bed and in a small bathtub. She later moves through empty streets and deteriorating buildings, carrying a wooden torch while an elderly man dressed as an angel appears nearby. Intercut with these scenes, the Cranberries perform in open grassland, dressed in matching red suits. The video closes by returning the mysterious older figure to the place where he was first seen.

• The song was released in February 1995 as the third single from the Cranberries' second album, "No Need to Argue." In North America, it was issued as the album's fourth and final single.

• Parts of the video were filmed at Copped Hall, a historic country house and estate in Epping, England.

• The video's visual design combines 1920s-inspired clothing, abandoned architecture, torchlight, and religious imagery, giving the romantic song a darker, period-piece atmosphere.
