Synopsis

A young woman wakes for work, but her ordinary morning quickly fractures into a surreal nightmare. As she moves through her bedroom, bathroom, and workplace, her movements multiply into kaleidoscopic patterns, with identical dancers appearing, disappearing, and merging around her. Everyday routines become increasingly unstable until reality seems to fold in on itself. The video follows the song's hypnotic repetition by turning one woman's anxious morning into a disorienting, dreamlike performance that blurs the boundaries between waking life, memory, and fantasy.

Factoids & Trivia

• The woman at the center of the video is played by actress and dancer Stephanie Landwehr.

• The visual design depends heavily on duplication, split-screen compositions, morphing, and carefully synchronized choreography. The repeated bodies appear to be part of the same physical space rather than conventional digital copies, giving the effects a handmade, stage-magic quality.

• The video draws on the kaleidoscopic dance imagery of Busby Berkeley, particularly the "I Only Have Eyes For You" number from the 1934 Warner Bros. musical *Dames*.

• Its contrasting visual textures are part of the concept: the girl's everyday world has a more immediate video look, while the choreographed fantasy passages evoke older film and television imagery.

• Noel Gallagher co-wrote the song and supplied its vocals, but does not appear in the video. The track was his second collaboration with the Chemical Brothers, following "Setting Sun."
