Synopsis

Shakira performs "Tu" inside a cluttered, open-plan room styled like a 1960s home. As she sings, she moves through ordinary domestic routines, including opening the refrigerator, shaving her legs, and lounging on the furniture. Three string players gradually appear and accompany her before leaving the room. Filmed almost entirely from one fixed angle and presented in stark black and white, the video ends by pulling back through the window to reveal the street outside.
