Synopsis

Veruca Salt perform "Shutterbug" inside an ornate, dreamlike interior that gives the video a theatrical, slightly surreal atmosphere. Louise Post and Nina Gordon move through the elaborate setting in a series of playful, physically exaggerated shots, at times appearing to swing and bounce from suspended apparatus. Intercut performance footage keeps the band's forceful delivery at the center, while the unusual staging and vintage-looking surroundings create a visual contrast with the song's abrasive alternative-rock attack.
