• Treach's initial concept was to give the video the feel of "Fat Albert in a junkyard," which shaped its playful setting and cartoon-like atmosphere.

• The shoot took place in Brooklyn, even though Naughty By Nature were identified with East Orange, New Jersey. Vin Rock later recalled that Brooklyn showed the group considerable respect during the production.

• The video became a major crossover gathering of early-1990s hip hop, with appearances by Queen Latifah, Eazy-E, Monie Love, Da Youngsta's, Kris Kross, Tupac Shakur, Run-D.M.C., and Spike Lee.

• According to the group, Kay Gee was nearly late to the shoot because he was still in bed. He was reportedly pulled into action quickly because the production schedule had to accommodate his desire to make a Knicks game.

• A later upload of the video removed Eazy-E's appearance and substituted footage from elsewhere in the clip. The original version remains available through Naughty By Nature's official channel.
