A sleeping couple becomes trapped in a shared nightmare of suburban menace and absurd violence. Dave Grohl's character dreams that two leather-clad intruders are attacking their home, while his partner dreams of him as a larger-than-life hero coming to her rescue. The dream worlds overlap, shift, and collapse through a series of surreal transformations, including enormous hands, giant telephone props, and impossible changes of scale. After the couple defeats the intruders, the video returns to the bedroom before revealing the Foo Fighters performing the song.
