Synopsis

A lone motorcyclist travels through a stark, sun-drenched landscape with a baby in his sidecar. He eventually delivers the child to Alan Wilder, who waits outside a remote house. The video then shifts between the band members performing and taking turns holding the baby, creating a deliberately odd contrast between the song's urgent, predatory lyrics and the group's deadpan expressions. The playful final moments, including a baby tugging Martin Gore's hair, give the otherwise stark road journey an unexpectedly comic edge.
