Synopsis

JoJo's boyfriend David invites her to an important soccer game, but his attention soon shifts elsewhere. At a party, he ignores her call and flirts with other girls, confirming that the relationship is no longer worth saving. JoJo stays home, revisits their memories, and discards reminders of him while singing through a rainstorm. David struggles during the game, misses a crucial goal, and watches his team lose. The video closes on JoJo's house as the rain fades, marking the end of the relationship.

• The soccer theme came from the video's creative concept, with JoJo initially considering American football before choosing soccer because of its worldwide popularity.

• The video was filmed in the Los Angeles area, including East Los Angeles College's football stadium, Universal Studios, and a Hollywood home near Interstate 10.

• JoJo wanted the love interest to feel authentic rather than like a typical hired model or actor. UCLA soccer player Mike Zaher was selected to play David after a screen test.

• Zaher originally thought he and his teammates were being recruited for a Lindsay Lohan music video. He was first expected to appear as an extra before JoJo chose him for the lead role.
