Havoc and Prodigy are hired by a Los Angeles crime boss to recover money from a rival nightclub. After completing the job, the Mobb Deep duo decide to keep the cash for themselves rather than return it. The video unfolds as a compact crime story, mixing the robbery narrative with performance scenes and appearances from the group's affiliates. Danny Trejo plays the rival boss, while Emilio Rivera appears as the employer who sends them after the money.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video features Danny Trejo as a mob boss and Emilio Rivera as the gangster who hires Mobb Deep. Rivera and Trejo had both built reputations through crime and action roles, making their casting an unusually recognizable pairing for a rap video.

• Other appearances include Big Noyd, Infamous Mobb, Jayo Felony, Kurupt, Illa Ghee, The Alchemist, and DJ Felli Fel. The guest list reinforces the track's posse-cut atmosphere without turning it into a conventional feature-heavy performance video.

• MTV's "Making the Video" documented the production of "Got It Twisted" in 2004, placing the clip among the show's rap-focused episodes from that period.

• "Got It Twisted" was the lead single from Mobb Deep's 2004 album "Amerikaz Nightmare." The Alchemist produced the track and built its distinctive beat around a sample from Thomas Dolby's 1980s song "She Blinded Me With Science."

• The single reached No. 64 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 23 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and No. 16 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart.
