Synopsis

A lo-fi, black-and-white space adventure accompanies Mates of State's energetic love song. The video places the duo inside a playful cosmic scenario, mixing live-action footage with animation and science-fiction imagery. Rather than following a detailed narrative, it uses the setting to amplify the song's excited, slightly unhinged devotion. The handmade visual style, abrupt transitions, and surreal outer-space atmosphere give the clip the feel of a miniature indie sci-fi film built around the repeated declaration of affection.
