Synopsis

A dark, surreal visual companion to Red Axes and Abrao's Portuguese-language dance track, the video follows a hallucinatory journey shaped by repetition, distorted imagery and an uneasy sense of movement. Rather than presenting a conventional narrative, it mirrors the song's hypnotic groove and its references to Alfred Dreyfus, an innocent man condemned through betrayal and prejudice. The result is an atmospheric, psychologically charged clip in which the idea of following Dreyfus's path becomes a metaphor for disorientation, injustice and endurance.

• "Caminho De Dreyfus" was released in 2013 on Correspondant Records as a four-track EP. The package included the original version, remixes by Rebolledo and Marc Houle, and the Red Axes instrumental "Spicy Stick."

• The title refers to Alfred Dreyfus, the French military officer whose wrongful conviction for treason became one of the most notorious miscarriages of justice in modern European history. The lyrics contrast an innocent condemned man with the betrayal surrounding him.

• The song was the first Red Axes track to feature Abrao on vocals. In a later interview, the duo described it as an important early statement of their personal sound.

• Its musical identity combines psychedelic rock, post-punk, new wave and electronic dance music. The production is built around a forceful bass line, abrasive guitar figures, cowbell accents and Abrao's theatrical vocal delivery.
