Synopsis

In this black-and-white crime fantasia, underworld kingpin Das Muerte sets a trap for his nemesis, the by-the-book G-Man Jerry Stewart. With help from femme fatale Mei Tsui, the scheme draws Stewart into a shadowy world of gangsters, deception and gruesome violence. The four-minute clip plays like a compact film noir, balancing hard-boiled character types with comic-book exaggeration and stylized horror. Its climax delivers the grisly fate promised by the song's title, turning a kidnapping plot into an elaborate revenge tableau.

• "All Those Delicate Cuts" was released in 2014 as a track from Das Muerte's second EP, titled "EP 2."

• The video was designed as a film noir piece in black and white, with the band giving the production considerable freedom to expand the character of Das Muerte into an underworld kingpin who skins his enemies alive.

• A 49-second teaser appeared in December 2013 and was presented like a trailer for a fictional video game or big-budget crime film. The full video followed after the holidays.
