Synopsis

Teddybears and Jamaican dancehall artist Mad Cobra perform "Cobrastyle" in a deliberately retro, larger-than-life setting. Their appearances are intercut with stop-motion action in which a gorilla and a cobra-shaped robot face off against a mountainous backdrop. The playful miniature battle mirrors the track's clash of electronic rock, dancehall and cartoonish pop energy. Shot in Cuba, the video combines live performance footage, stylized costumes and handmade-looking animation to create a surreal B-movie spectacle.

• The video was filmed in Cuba, with scenes made at the Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematograficos, commonly known as ICAIC.

• Its central confrontation uses stop-motion animation: a gorilla and a robot cobra battle like oversized movie monsters against a painted mountain landscape.

• "Cobrastyle" first appeared on Teddybears' 2004 album "Fresh" and was later reissued on "Soft Machine" in 2006. Mad Cobra's vocal contribution helped connect the Swedish band's electronic rock sound with Jamaican dancehall.

• The song draws on Mad Cobra's earlier track "Press Trigger," released in 2001, making the recording a reworking as well as a new Teddybears production.
