Synopsis

A newly single man moves through Oslo while trying to recover from the end of a relationship and prepare for a move to Australia. He carries "First Days of Something" from one listening device to another, playing it on an iPod, stereos, computers, and headphones. The song becomes a kind of emotional treatment, accompanying lonely visits to galleries, parties, and intimate encounters. Rather than presenting the band as performers, the video turns the track into part of the character's everyday life and inner world.

• The video was filmed live on the roof of Bergen Kjoett, a cultural venue in Bergen's Skuteviken district.
